The State Theatre announces an all-new lively, interactive, and FREE three-part storytelling series entitled MILK & COOKIES for children, ages three to eight, and their parents. This brand new initiative, fully-funded and sponsored by the Provident Bank Foundation and presented by the State Theatre, is a total of six performances on three select Saturdays at 10am and 12pm. Dedicated to passing on the African oral tradition, Dylan Pritchett presents cultural folktales with a positive message that crosses cultural boundaries. He has recorded several albums of folktales and created the voices of many historical characters for museum recordings and exhibits, including the Smithsonian Museum, Colonial Williamsburg, Monticello, National Oregon Trial Interpretive Center, and many others.
