Scarlet-White Game
UPDATE:
The Rutgers football team closed out spring practice with the annual Scarlet-White spring game as the Scarlet defeated the White 28-14 in front of a school-record spring game crowd of 14,501 Saturday at Rutgers Stadium.

The Scarlet team recorded all four touchdowns in the first half, scoring on four of five possessions, as senior quarterback Mike Teel (Oakland, N.J.) went 16-of-25 for 238 yards and three touchdowns. Senior wide receiver Tiquan Underwood (Lawrenceville, N.J.) accounted for two of the scores, while junior fullback Jack Corcoran (Atlantic City, N.J.) caught one. (more at ScarletKnights.com)
Proceeds from the Scarlet-White game benefited the pediatric units of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and St. Peter’s University Hospital. Members of the team signed autographs for fans after the contest.
Rutgers opens the 2008 season on Monday, September 1 vs. Fresno State at Rutgers Stadium. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
