Holiday Tree Lighting

The holiday season will officially kick off in downtown New Brunswick with the lighting of New Brunswick’s Holiday Tree at Monument Square. The lighting is the culmination of the 16th Annual Holiday Celebration Program which starts at 5:00pm
Join the holiday fun! The program will include live music, a visit from Santa, a special appearance from Glen Burtnik, WMGQ personality Debbie Mazella, and much more! Mayor James Cahill will welcome visitors and usher in the holiday season by flipping the switch to officially light the Holiday tree.
At the event you can judge as you sample and vote for your favorite chili receipe in the Pro-Am Chili Cook-Off and after the event take a FREE horse drawn carriage ride. Please join us and bring a non-perishable food item (donations will also be accepted) to the event to help those less fortunate.
