So over the next few tastings, we’ll look into how to find great wines in bad times. There are hundreds of wines readily available that are not only reasonable but well worth buying. And by that I mean, not just passable, but that have real character; a wine that over the course of a meal and into the evening, will continue to reveal itself.

In our first tasting in this series, as an over-view, we’ll taste wines from Spain, Argentina, Austria and more. There’s enough here to keep us happy well into the next bubble.
