Adding to the festival atmosphere is a new venue—the Hub City Big Top—set up on Livingston Avenue in front of the State Theatre. The Mermaid Theatre brings to life these two beloved “rabbit tales” through playful glow-in-the-dark segments, whimsical puppetry, and evocative music. Margaret Wise Brown’s Good Night Moon, the simple story of a bunny saying good night to a few of his favorite objects, has won the hearts of children for generations, since its publication in 1947.
