Admission: $6 for adults, $4 for seniors 65 and over, and $1 for children ages 3 to 12. Children under 2 are free.

Starts today and runs through August 10th.
The fair hours are 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. today through Friday, Aug. 4-Aug. 8; from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9; and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10.

Pay-One-Price nights are today and Wednesday, Aug. 6, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 9, and Sunday, Aug. 10. For $15, visitors can ride as many rides as they would like on those days. Mega Passes, offering unlimited rides each day during operating hours, are available for $35.

Daily shows include the popular Robinson’s Racing Pigs; Barnyard Express; the Magic of Virgil; Hilby, the Skinny German Juggle Boy; and the Great American Frontier Show, which includes a visit by timber wolves, an American black bear and mountain lions, and a trick-riding show. A nightly dance show, featuring music by the Party Exchange Music, also will be offered.

This year’s entertainment will feature Ed Goldberg and the NJ Polka All-Star Band on Tuesday, Aug. 5, Amish Outlaws on Wednesday, Aug. 6, and Icon Dancers and karaoke on Thursday, Aug. 7. Ridgemont High, a local band, will take center stage on Friday, Aug. 8, and Saturday, Aug. 9, is country night with the After the Reign Country Band.

The State Theatre announces an all-new lively, interactive, and FREE three-part storytelling series entitled MILK & COOKIES for children, ages three to eight, and their parents. This brand new initiative, fully-funded and sponsored by the Provident Bank Foundation and presented by the State Theatre, is a total of six performances on three select Saturdays at 10am and 12pm. Each performance will contain live music and will encourage audience participation. Space is limited, so advance registration is strongly recommended. To register call 732-246-SHOW.

Felix Pitre—Animal Tales (Cuentos Animales)

Felix Pitre brings to life the culture of Latin America with puppetry, stories, songs, instruments, and dance—performed in English interwoven with Spanish words and phrases. In Animal Tales, Felix presents a collection of animal stories and songs from Brazil, Mexico, and Peru celebrating the environment and teaching respect for creatures large and small. As a storyteller, Pitre has performed throughout the U.S., including Washington’s Kennedy Center and the Smithsonian’s Discovery Theatre. Dylan Pritchett—African Tales

Dedicated to passing on the African oral tradition, Dylan Pritchett presents cultural folktales with a positive message that crosses cultural boundaries. He has recorded several albums of folktales and created the voices of many historical characters for museum recordings and exhibits, including the Smithsonian Museum, Colonial Williamsburg, Monticello, National Oregon Trial Interpretive Center, and many others.
