Attend FREE open-to-the-public rehearsals for the gravity-defying Los Angeles-based dance troupe, Diavolo (dee ah voh loh) on Tuesday, February 12 at 1pm and Wednesday, February 13 at 1:30pm at the State Theatre in New Brunswick, located at 15 Livingston Avenue.

It’s a blend of cutting edge dance, stunt work, and theatre boasting extreme teamwork and trust. Diavolo’s team of dancers, gymnasts, and actors will twirl and fly across surrealistic set pieces to present crowd-pleasing and high-risk performances exploring the human condition. The State Theatre announces an all-new lively, interactive, and FREE three-part storytelling series entitled MILK & COOKIES for children, ages three to eight, and their parents. This brand new initiative, fully-funded and sponsored by the Provident Bank Foundation and presented by the State Theatre, is a total of six performances on three select Saturdays at 10am and 12pm. Lisa Facciponti’s storytelling programs feature audience participation, music, some words and phrases in Spanish, some simple costuming, dance, and song to engage audiences of all ages. She has appeared as a storyteller, conducted residencies, and led workshops throughout the northeastern U.S., as well as in Mexico.
