Venue: Harvest Moon
FREE event but please RSVP on www.NJYP.org
Description:
Are you ready for another packed Happy Hour?? If so, join us at Harvest Moon for some drink specials and maybe even a bite to eat. Oh, and besides the booze, there will be several NJYP members there to laugh and converse with. We hope you are ready for another fun filled event at The Moon. Yes, parking will be a tough but it’ll be worth it!
Who should attend:
Single and married members who are 21-39 years old.
What to expect:
Our Happy Hours are very casual. There are no sign-in tables, no name tags, and no ice breakers. Expect people to walk up to you to introduce themselves and feel free to walk up to others who you do not know. Newbies are at EVERY NJYP event so if this is your first, you won’t be alone.
The Next Underground’s debut party is coming up Thursday night, March 13, downstairs at The Court Tavern.
The New Brunswick scene doesn’t have a Melody Bar or a Roxy any more, but it does have a future…starting Thursday Night at The Next Underground, downstairs at The Court Tavern. Be there to make it happen, with your hosts, Altrok Radio’s Sean Carolan, DJ Drew & DJ IronMike.
The Next Underground’s three DJs draw on the rich musical history of New Brunswick’s club scene of the 80s and 90s (think the Melody and the Roxy) and update it with a current mix of electrohouse, nu-rave, europop and altrock.
The Next Underground will *be* underground - downstairs at The Court Tavern, downtown New Brunswick. This Thursday, March 13 - no cover before 10pm. (Afterward, it’s $2 with student ID, $4 without.)
