In place of Gaebel’s will be 85 Steakhouse
Steakhouse 85 is expected to open this fall with chef/owner Brian Karluk manning the stoves. The menu will feature prime, dry-aged, hand-cut, Angus beef, plus pork, veal, seafood, NJ produce, handmade pastas, classic desserts, and a children’s menu.

The Scarlet Fever mega-building has been going up quite QUICKLY!
According to owner, it’s going to be TWO floors and lots more space than the once tiny store!
There will also be apartments on the third floor!
In the mean time they will watch the construction in their temporary spot across the street!
Not sure if we spelled the name right, the space next to Evelyn’s which used to be the old laundromat is finally coming together and should be open soon. There is a HUGE bar in the middle - great tiling throughout. DJ Booth in the back. Looks to be a nice space. The owner is the same one that owns Evelyn’s - there will be access from the back of Toula to the back courtyard at Evelyn’s.
Looks like a new tanning salon is coming downtown.
in place of that men’s store that had been there for a while with the pimped out suits.
